After the AGM and hail showers yesterday, the sun came out for our working party. Karen, Rita and Dez were on nettle reduction; Eloisa and Guillermo on horsetail minimisation; Gerard on dead hedge laying; Adele on adding rainbow chard to the understory in the food forest; and Janet on extending the bench in the shelter to form a corner and begin to fill in one of the sides with some of the pallets we have been amassing.

Throughout, the pair of mallards (who the children have christened Cathy and Bruno!) that have taken up residence at the pond, kept an eye on us. See if you can spot them in the photo…
